A short guide for people moving here: the parts of town, when to book and what to plan for.

Why people move here

Greenville sits on I-85, roughly halfway between Atlanta and Charlotte, with the Blue Ridge foothills to the north. Downtown is built around Main Street and Falls Park on the Reedy River, and the Swamp Rabbit Trail runs out toward Travelers Rest.

Work brings a lot of people too. GSP airport and the BMW plant are both nearby in Greer, and the wider Upstate has grown fast.
